A new Mercedes-Maybach GLS is also rumored to be released in 2022. It will come with a Mercedes-AMG V12 engine and the new AMG RIDE CONTROL sport suspension. It will also feature an electric power steering system and LED lights.

What’s so special about the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class? For starters, the interior will come with a 24-karat gold trim inside the vehicle. The entire vehicle will be covered in a high quality carbon fiber.
Two electric motors on each axle
The new Maybach S-Class will likely feature a hybridized version of Mercedes-Benz’s S 350e. The 350e uses two electric motors to increase total power output to a maximum of 469 horsepower. This power is available to the rear wheels exclusively. And, should buyers desire an all-electric version of the new Maybach S-Class, it can get a boost from a pair of electric motors to produce around 750 horsepower and nearly 800 lb-ft of torque. The new model is also set to come with additional modes that allow the driver to set up the car’s performance to meet the personal tastes of the person sitting in the driver’s seat.

It seems that Mercedes-Benz is making a bigger push in this second half of 2018 to move towards luxury that can compete with its similarly-priced competitors.
