know that <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ar.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D9%87%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%86%D8%AF%D8%A7%D9%8A_%D9%85%D9%88%D8%AA%D9%88%D8%B1\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">there are<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> still <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ar.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D9%87%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%86%D8%AF%D8%A7%D9%8A_%D9%85%D9%88%D8%AA%D9%88%D8%B1\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">well-designed, affordable small sedans<\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> available for sale. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Watch 2021 Hyundai Accent. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">With a starting price of about $16,000, the Accent is one of the least expensive new cars today, but Hyundai makes none of the three trims a penalty box.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Accent<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/%d9%87%d9%8a%d9%88%d9%86%d8%af%d8%a7%d9%8a-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%86%d8%aa%d8%b1%d8%a7-2021\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However, all three are powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Unexciting but effective bolt-on with either a six-speed manual or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">All touches come with features that only a few years ago were considered luxuries in the small car segment, including electric windows, air conditioning,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And the driver&#8217;s seat is adjustable in six directions. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The transition to SEL and Limited models adds more modern luxuries such as a larger 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, heated seats and push-button operation. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Best of all, the Accent will never make you feel &#8211; or look &#8211; cheap thanks to its adult design and fuss-free interior.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul inherit;\">Hyundai has decided to leave the Accent alone enough for 2021, with the only change to the available car color range. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">New Forge Gray replaces Urban Gray while Linen Beige has been discontinued.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/%d9%87%d9%8a%d9%88%d9%86%d8%af%d8%a7%d9%8a-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%86%d8%aa%d8%b1%d8%a7-2021\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It&#8217;s no secret that we are fans of manual transmission cars<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , and it is refreshing to find a good manual transmission that is standard on the Accent. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Unfortunately, it&#8217;s only offered on the base SE level, which is stripped down and lacks many features that many car buyers would call essential. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However ,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It&#8217;s a decently equipped and inexpensive small sedan that we&#8217;re proposing. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">For us, it&#8217;s missing just one feature: aluminum wheels. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hyundai hears our call: Check out the cheap-looking steel wheels with wheel covers!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hyundai Engine, Transmission and Performance<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\">\r\n<figure id=\"attachment_14505\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14505\" style=\"width: 435px\" inherit;\">The Accent&#8217;s 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine produces 120 horsepower and drives the front wheels through either a six-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The four cylinders were new for 2020 and we didn&#8217;t test one of them, but we&#8217;d expect similar performance for the 2018 and 2019 models that deliver 130 horsepower.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Riding comfort clearly takes priority over skilful handling. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However, the Accent feels lively, its petite body is easily thrown into corners, and it&#8217;s rewarding when pressed. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Off-road is adequately leveled with the suspension, but harsh impacts will generate vibrations through the cabin.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hyundai fuel economy<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But small cars are expected to deliver good fuel economy numbers, and they do just that.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The new four-cylinder engine has improved fuel economy across the lineup: Manual transmission models are rated at 33 mpg combined and automatic models claim a combined 36 mpg rating.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We haven&#8217;t had a chance to put Accent&#8217;s new powertrain through the fuel economy test<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">On real-world highways, the 2018 Accent&#8217;s less efficient engine impressed us with a 41 mpg result when outfitted with a standard six-speed manual transmission.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hyundai interior, comfort and cargo<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Accent&#8217;s emerging interior looks good, but it lacks the lighter Kia Rio or the rear-seat roominess of the Honda Fit \u2014 which provides nearly six inches of extra rear legroom.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But Accent has an interior devoid of frills, is uncomplicated and honest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both of our test cars had a black interior, which, despite its well-built, offers a dreary, business-like appearance. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The optional beige interior creates a richer feel, with tan and black seats and similar dashboard and door panels.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Despite the sedan&#8217;s body and smaller cargo space with the use of the rear seats, the Accent had room for more hand luggage than the more practical Rio hatchback. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In fact, with the rear seats folded, the Accent retained two cases of less than particularly roomy size.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Information, entertainment and communication<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure>\r\n<figure id=\"attachment_14517\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14517\" style=\"width: 569px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14517\" 5.0-inch touchscreen radio is standard and offers USB and additional ports for connecting devices to the interface, but the 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes on the SEL and Limited is higher tech. The larger screen also features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as well as a port. A second USB is located at the back of the center console.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both systems offer Bluetooth phone connectivity, but the 7.0-inch touchscreen also comes with SiriusXM satellite radio.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Safety and driver assistance features<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Accent only a four-star safety rating, but the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named it a Top Safety Pick.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning are optional driver assistance features not available on many Accent competitors.
