Rumors have it that an electric F-150 is on the way, too, but we expect it won&#8217;t debut for another year or two. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Meanwhile, we expect the 2021 F-150 to start arriving at Ford dealerships by the end of 2020.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The F-150 is available in <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/%d9%81%d9%88%d8%b1%d8%af-%d8%a7%d9%8a%d9%83%d9%88-%d8%b3%d8%a8%d9%88%d8%b1%d8%aa-2021\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">multiple body designs and bed lengths. <\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">While the XLT is a step up from the basic XL work truck, we prefer the extra luxuries in the Lariat. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It costs more than $10,000 more than the XLT, which may put it out of reach for some buyers,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But it has the best combination of features and affordability.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Engine, Transmission and Performance<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> Ford 2021<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery model, the 2021 F-150 will be available with several engines \u2014 a 290-hp 3.3-liter V-6; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">400 HP 5.0L V-8; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Twin-turbocharged 325 hp 2.7L V-6; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">400 hp twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">and a 250-hp 3.0-liter V-6 diesel. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">No matter which engine you choose, the F-150 comes paired with a 10-speed automatic. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">For the first time ever, the F-150 will also be equipped with a hybrid engine. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ford claims that its new hybrid powertrain \u2013 consisting of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And a 35 kW electric motor, and a 10-speed automatic transmission &#8211; it&#8217;ll deliver 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque as well. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Up to 700 miles of driving range per tank. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The automaker hasn&#8217;t released official energy numbers or fuel-efficiency estimates for it yet. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Buyers will be able to choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive with any of the F-150&#8217;s available powertrains. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A rumored all-electric F-150 is likely to be a joint venture with EV startup Rivian,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But Ford hasn&#8217;t announced much about it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Towing and load capacity<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/%d9%81%d9%88%d8%b1%d8%af-%d8%a7%d9%8a%d9%83%d9%88-%d8%b3%d8%a8%d9%88%d8%b1%d8%aa-2021\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">While the base 3.3-liter V6&#8217;s towing capacity<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> is 8,200 pounds, models equipped with the 400-horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 can top out at 14,000 pounds. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Using the impressive 5.0-liter V-8 means maximum towing capacity is just 13,000 pounds;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The V-6 diesel engine is capable of towing up to 12,100 pounds and the hybrid model can tow up to 12,700 pounds. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The load capacity ranges from 1840 to 3250 pounds. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">These towing and payload capabilities keep the new F-150 on track to chase major competitors such as the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500 and Ram 1500.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">2021 Ford <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">fuel economy<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The EPA estimates that the 2021 F-150 equipped with a turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6 will gain up to 20 mpg in the city and 26 on the highway. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 is rated at 18 mpg in the city and 24 on the highway. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The hybrid version has ratings of up to 25 mpg in the city and 26 on the highway. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Once we can get our new F-150 running on our 75 mph highway for fuel economy,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Which is part of our comprehensive testing system, we can rate real-world mpg.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Interior, comfort and cargo<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Internal appointments receive promotion for 2021,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Which is what Ford had to do in order to compete with the luxury cabin of the Ram 1500. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is said that more premium materials are used throughout the cabin and more stowage compartments are spread across the cabin. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The additional convenience features are intended to make things easier for those using the F-150 as a mobile workspace. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">For example, the lever of the 10-speed automatic transmission can be folded flat using the center console to create a large flat workspace. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Likewise, the F-150 can be ordered with foldable front seats that can provide a place to sleep.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Passenger space is expected to be similar to the outgoing model, with the four-door crew cabin structure being the most spacious and family-friendly of the group. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Outside, the F-150&#8217;s bed has seen several improvements, starting with available powered panels that now extend down the side of the truck to provide an easy step into the cargo area. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">An optional onboard generator provides up to 7.2 kW of power to support electricity needs on the job site or at tailgate parties.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Information, entertainment and communication<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">While a larger 12.0-inch unit will be optional. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This will be compatible with the Ram 1500&#8217;s optional 12.0-inch head-up display, which dwarfs the 8.0-inch screens on the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and we also expect a Wi-Fi hotspot; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Navigation and SiriusXM radio should be available as options as well as Bang &amp; Olufsen&#8217;s premium stereo system. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The new Sync 4 software provides over-the-air updates for future software releases, traffic and weather updates via the optional navigation system,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">and onboard telematics for fleet customers to help track vehicle location and usage.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">2021 Ford features <\/span><\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">safety and driver assistance<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The 2021 F-150 has not been tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA),<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It has not been fully evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ford offers a range of driver assistance features, but few are standard. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">More features will be available as buyers progress through the F-150&#8217;s six trim levels, including a rear camera to monitor a trailer on the go. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Key safety features include:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u00a0Standard Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u00a0Lane departure warning with lane-keep assist<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u00a0Available adaptive cruise control<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Warranty and maintenance coverage<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We don&#8217;t expect Ford to change its standard warranty offerings for 2021.
