{"id":10567,"date":"2021-01-07T00:10:22","date_gmt":"2021-01-06T21:10:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/%d9%81%d9%88%d8%b1%d8%af-%d8%a7%d9%8a%d9%83%d9%88-%d8%b3%d8%a8%d9%88%d8%b1%d8%aa-2021\/"},"modified":"2022-06-15T20:48:39","modified_gmt":"2022-06-15T17:48:39","slug":"ford-ecosport-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cargtr.com\/en\/ford-ecosport-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Ford EcoSport 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span class=\"\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ford EcoSport 2021<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ford EcoSport automakers are <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ar.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%A9_%D9%81%D9%88%D8%B1%D8%AF\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">quickly filling their kits with secondary crossovers<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , many of which are worth your money. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Some, like the 2021 Ford EcoSport, are not. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">While the EcoSport offers the long sitting position <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/en\/2021-ford-expedition\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">that many buyers are looking for<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , it fails to provide much more than that. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Its standard engine is a low-powered three-cylinder with mediocre fuel efficiency; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Four cylinders are optional. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Interior space is limited and inexpensive materials can be found throughout, even in the higher trim levels. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Vehicles such as the Mazda CX-30, Hyundai Kona or Kia Soul, with their more refined driving experiences, sportier looks and better cabins, are excellent choices for buyers in this segment. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And for those who need more space, look at the Nissan Kicks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure>\r\n<figure id=\"attachment_15106\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15106\" style=\"width: 619px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15106\" src=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/car-gtr-3-42.jpg\" alt=\"Ford Eco Sport\" width=\"619\" height=\"412\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cargtr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/car-gtr-3-42.jpg 619w, https:\/\/cargtr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/car-gtr-3-42-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 619px) 100vw, 619px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15106\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ford Eco Sport<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n<figcaption class=\"blocks-gallery-item__caption\"><\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/en\/2021-ford-expedition\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Very few new features in<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> the 2021 EcoSport, but it does get an updated look package, a standard electric driver&#8217;s seat on the top of the SES 4WD (oddly, there wasn&#8217;t one before), and synthetic leather seat covers on the Titanium model.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The SE would be better off using the EcoSport, which significantly upgrades the S model. The SE gives you features like heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver&#8217;s seat, as well as automatic climate control and Ford&#8217;s Sync 3 infotainment system with a touchscreen display. 8.0 inches, electric sunroof. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Upgrading to all-wheel drive costs $1,500 on any of the trim levels\u2014except for the SES 4WD, which comes standard with it. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">SES also replaces the standard three-cylinder engine with a more powerful four-cylinder. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However, given how similar the two engines perform, we&#8217;d suggest sticking with front-wheel drive to save on the added weight &#8211; unless you really need to send power to all four wheels.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Engine, transmission and performance<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> Ford EcoSport<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Whether it has <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/en\/2021-ford-expedition\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">a standard 123-hp three-cylinder engine<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> or an optional 166-hp four-cylinder engine, the EcoSport is the opposite of the fast engine. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both engines share a six-speed automatic transmission, and surprisingly they can pull more than most competitors. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">After driving these engines, we confirmed that straight-line acceleration is not their strong point. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However ,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both engines felt lively at stop signs and at city speeds. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ford can tow up to 2,000 pounds when equipped with the four-cylinder engine. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Even the three-cylinder version can handle up to 1,400 lbs. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The EcoSport drives better at slower speeds. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Ford almost felt too skidding through busy streets, but its fuzzy steering and noisy ride dampened the experience. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">While the ride can&#8217;t isolate the cabin from rough surfaces, the gently slick suspension on our titanium test car effectively relieves occupants of the harshness. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Spongy bumps and extremely heavy behavior led to unbridled body movements. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">These effects are amplified at higher speeds. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The front-wheel drive titanium brake pedal never felt firm, but it did provide a consistent response.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ford EcoSport <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">fuel economy<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Those who think &#8220;Eco&#8221; in EcoSport means economic will be disappointed. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that the standard three-cylinder engine will gain up to 27 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The four-cylinder version has ratings of 23 mpg city and 29 mpg highway. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Surprisingly, the four-cylinder version performed better in our real-world highway test than the three-cylinder version. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We noticed 30 mpg with the four cylinder but only 28 with the three cylinder. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However, neither was quite as efficient as the Hyundai Kona or the Nissan Rogue Sport we tested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ford Eco Sport <\/span><\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">interior, comfort and cargo<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The EcoSport interior is functional rather than modern, which we can appreciate over the cheaper models. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And the cabin quality is very poor, which is frustrating in the upper trims that cost close to 30 thousand dollars. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Meanwhile, there&#8217;s plenty of room for passengers in the front but not much in the back. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Compared to the elegant cabins of the Kona and Kia Soul, the Ford&#8217;s compact interior is disappointing. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The leather-wrapped steering wheel felt rubbery, and most of the plastic surfaces felt stiff and hollow. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The SES style dresses things up with exclusive leather and fabric seats as well as brass-tone trim pieces.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Despite its compact size, the EcoSport has competitive stowage and storage space. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Most of the test results were average. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Ford has proven to be a useful, if compact, travel companion with a few handy tricks. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It had fewer carry bags than the Rogue Sport and Honda HR-V but had a higher capacity than other similar competitors. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The EcoSport has a variety of internal storage, but not too much space. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A lockable vent in the glove box connects to the vehicle&#8217;s air conditioner to create a climate-controlled cabin.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Information, entertainment and communication<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul CarPlay and Android Auto. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Base models have a basic Bluetooth compatible display but no other smartphone integration.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ford Eco Sport <\/span><\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Safety and Driver Assistance Features<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The 2021 EcoSport received a four-star crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), but has not been rated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">While the Ford lacks advanced driver assistance such as automated emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, the available features are on par with most competitors. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align:
