href=\"https:\/\/ar.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%D9%81%D9%8A%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%B1%D9%8A\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">bottom of Ferrari&#8217;s model hierarchy<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , and like the model it replaced for 2018, its <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/en\/ferrari-sf90-stradale-spider-2021\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">engine is at the front of the car. <\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But don&#8217;t let any of these things cloud your judgment. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Ferrari Portofino M is everything a Ferrari should be: sexy, powerful and fast. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The twin-turbo V-8 makes 612 horsepower \u2014 up from 591 in last year&#8217;s model \u2014<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And it should hit 60 mph in the low three-second range. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The small rear seat and trunk wouldn&#8217;t fit much, but practicality was never a selling point for Ferrari. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Within 15 seconds, you can stock up on the retractable hardtop and listen to the rumbling exhaust sound fighting the wind to get your attention. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If outdoor driving isn&#8217;t your thing, Ferrari offers a Portofino-based coupe in the sub-$250,000 range that might be more to your liking. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">my Ferrari<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure>\r\n<figure id=\"attachment_15298\" Portofino later this year. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Dubbed the Portofino M, this engine is more powerful than last year&#8217;s non-M model,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Which Ferrari won&#8217;t sell anymore. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">On top of that, a manettino drive mode switch on the steering wheel gains a race setting for track driving, and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission takes over the shifting duties from last year&#8217;s seven-speed unit. <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/en\/ferrari-sf90-stradale-spider-2021\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In addition<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , the newly available seats with ventilation technology and neck heating will definitely improve the rooftop experience for buyers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In a world where some high-end brands &#8211; Cough, Porsche &#8211; offer amazingly long lists of add-ons, Ferrari makes life easy by limiting your choices. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It even discontinued the 591-horsepower 2020 version, keeping the Portofino lineup for one model, the M. As before, the engine sends 561 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But he steers it via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission instead of last year&#8217;s seven. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The top speed of 199 mph and 60 mph that we estimate is in the low three-second range isn&#8217;t actually the most impressive;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It&#8217;s the unmistakable howl that blasts off the exhaust tips as the Portofino&#8217;s tach needle charges toward the engine&#8217;s 7,500-rpm redline. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We drove the 591hp Portofino in Italy, where the convertible offered a comfortable ride and great body control thanks to the adaptive dampers. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">While its electrically assisted steering provided satisfactory feedback, the setup is not quite as attractive as that of Porsche sports cars. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Every 2021 Portofino also features carbon-ceramic brakes that ensure this massive touring car stops three times. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">However, we had to get used to the initial smoothness of the brake pedal. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ferrari has limited pedal movement on the M in an effort to help improve its awkward feel. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We&#8217;ll let you know if it works as soon as we have a chance to drive it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">fuel economy<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Ferrari will manage 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Those numbers are lower than those of the V8-powered Aston Martin DB11, which achieves 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The big Bentley Continental GT sees the same city average as the Portofino M<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But it beats it on the highway, with 26 mpg. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If we get the opportunity to test the real-world fuel economy of this car, we&#8217;ll update this page with the results.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ferrari interior, <\/span><\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">comfort and cargo<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ferrari covers the interior of the Portofino M in premium leather, and the 18-way power-adjustable front seats &#8211; newly available with ventilation and neck heating technology &#8211; provide adequate comfort and support. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Plus, the practical windscreen helps keep the cabin cool quickly when you have a hard roof. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">With a pair of small seats behind the front passengers,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Ferrari convertible can technically transport up to four people, but we wouldn&#8217;t recommend anyone to spend time there. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We&#8217;ll be using these seats to carry our things, as the Portofino&#8217;s trunk won&#8217;t hold much and storage inside the cabin is minimal. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The handy drawer in the front of the center console will hold small things, there is also a place to store drinks nearby, but that&#8217;s about it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Information, entertainment and contact<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> Ferrari<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul enough, with a 10.3-inch touchscreen display mounted in the center of the dashboard. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We found that the unit responds during our limited exposure to it. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ferrari also offers an optional 7.0-inch touchscreen display that faces the front seat passenger and allows him or her to display performance data and operate the car&#8217;s navigation system.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Safety and driver assistance features<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Neither the National Institute for Highway Traffic Safety (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has conducted crash testing on the 2021 Portofino M, and we don&#8217;t expect either agency to do so. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The exciting Italian convertible offers driver assistance technology, but none are offered as standard. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align:
