Chevrolet Colorado The 2021 Chevy Colorado mid-size pickup and sibling GMC Canyon offer everyday practicality and ample capability, with significant towing and payload ratios. <\/span><\/span>In addition<\/span><\/span><\/a> , they are easier to maneuver than their full-size offspring. <\/span><\/span>The Colorado features three different engines<\/span><\/span><\/a> , including a surprisingly fast V-6 and a four-cylinder diesel engine. <\/span>While the interior is covered in cheap plastic, and even the largest cabin size has a small rear seat, the truck maintains a nice driving position and sporty handling. <\/span>Chevy ensures that every model has a state-of-the-art infotainment system, but leaves many contemporary driver-assistance features off the list. <\/span>The 2021 Colorado has a resume good enough to suit many pickup shoppers, but it lacks the qualifications that interest a wider audience.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Colorado lineup gets a fresh look for 2021. The most drastic changes include a heavily restyled face for the already iconic ZR2; <\/span>2021 looks more like Bane from the Dark Knight trilogy than a pickup truck. <\/span>Along with the red tow hooks, the ZR2 and Z71 acquire a sandblasted metallic paint color. <\/span>Likewise, lower trim levels will receive revised front end and different badges than before. <\/span>Chevy hasn’t said how much the latest Colorado will cost; <\/span>We’ll know more about that as next year’s scheduled sale approaches.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

While the Colorado is a popular truck<\/span><\/span><\/a> , <\/span>its lack of modern driver assistance and substandard interior quality diminish its appeal. <\/span>For this reason, we recommend the model that makes Chevy unique among midsize pickups. <\/span>This is the wide body ZR2. <\/span>Sure, it’s the most expensive trim level, but it does have a suite of exclusive equipment that includes exotic spool valve shocks, electronic locking variations on both axles, and one of the front-ends we’ve seen on a modern truck. <\/span>We’d opt for the crew cab for its larger rear seat and stick with the standard V-6 versus the higher-priced diesel option. <\/span>We also choose the Kinetic Blue paint and bed-mounted spare tire carrier because we love the look. <\/span>The power pack’s high-performance air intake and tail cat exhaust would be our final list as well.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
