Camaro zl1 With a supercharged 650 horsepower V-8 engine and fierce track capability, the 2021 Chevy Camaro ZL1 is the king of brutal muscle cars. <\/span>Sure, <\/span><\/span>the Dodge Challenger<\/span><\/span><\/a> SRT Hellcat and Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 have horsepower ratings starting at seven, but the bow beast offers similar thrills for fewer green bills. <\/span>In fact, if the mid-engine Corvette didn’t exist, the ZL1 could perhaps be called the world’s highest performance value.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Regardless, the Camaro <\/span><\/span>masters the combination of front-engine and rear-wheel drive that are typical of powerful cars<\/span><\/span><\/a> . <\/span>While both the coupe and convertible with a cool chassis are more prescient than the Miss Cleo, unleashing the ultimate Camaro requires a 1LE funnel-track package, but beware that it makes the suspension very stiff. <\/span>If you can overlook Chevy’s flawed interior, the 2021 Camaro ZL1 could be more exciting than a rollercoaster, and will regularly reward thrill seekers and track rats alike.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

There are only a few changes to the 2021 Camaro ZL1 lineup. Wireless integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is now on its list of features, and Chevy is introducing a new paint color at an extra cost: Wild Cherry.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

While the coupe with a standard manual transmission is the ZL1 of our choice, the $7,500 EGP 1 Extreme Track Performance package is transformative and alluring. <\/span>However, it does make it difficult to live with the ZL1 every day because the upgraded suspension is very strict. <\/span>Instead, we simply add performance data and a video recorder to capture the days when we’re brave enough to bring that hell of 650 horsepower to the racetrack.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
