How much does it cost?: The Toyota website gives a cost by region. <\/span>The Granvia in Ebony Pearl costs about $68,360, and with Crystal Pearl, Silver Pearl, or Graphite, it’s about $68,990. <\/span>Bump to VX spec and there’s anywhere from $81,560 to $82,200.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Under the hood: a 2.5-liter diesel, packing 130kW and 450Nm of torque. <\/span>This is a peak available across a very narrow range of courses; <\/span>1,600 rpm to 2,400 rpm, to be exact. <\/span>Powering the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic, economy is rated at 8.0 L\/100 km on the combined cycle. <\/span>Our final figure was 8.6 L\/100km. <\/span>Given a dry mass of 2.6 tons, <\/span><\/span>that’s an acceptable number<\/span><\/span><\/a> , and it could shave off a few pieces here and there at a speed more modern than an eight or nine.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Appearance: a box on wheels and no one hides this fact. <\/span>There are 5,300mm of length, 1,990mm and 1,940mm of height and width to play a role, <\/span><\/span>and with around 1,750mm from the leading edge to the start of the flat roof…well…it’s a box on wheels.<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n
