The C63 also has a sportier suspension tone (you&#8217;ll notice the harshest ride) and some exterior differences compared to the regular C-Class which It adds some aggressiveness to her look. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It&#8217;s available as a sedan, coupe or convertible, and it looks like a Saturn V booster rocket is mounted on its roof. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Plus, it has a legitimately luxurious interior and plenty of modern technology, so you can&#8217;t trade anything in for performance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul inherit;\">m little thing about this year &#8216;s <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">C63 changed. <\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A once optional 12.3 digital instrument cluster is now standard across the lineup, as is the sedan&#8217;s panoramic roof and more paint colors from the non-AMG C-Class sedan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">While the 2021 Mercedes might prefer a coupe or convertible, our money is going to the sedan. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It&#8217;s lighter than the coupe, and it&#8217;s easier for back-seat passengers to get in and out of, plus we like the simple look of the fast, four-door car. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It&#8217;s hard not to want a more efficient C63 S, but the performance differences are slight. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Only the S offers the AMG nine-step traction control system,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But we found it too intrusive in the C63 Coupe we drove at Lightning Lap 2019, so it&#8217;s not necessary. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Instead, we&#8217;ll get the standard C63 sedan and add an exterior lighting package to get adaptive LED headlights and go off for the AMG Performance front seats, because they&#8217;re exceptionally supportive.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Mercedes 2021 engine, transmission and Mercedes-AMG C63 and C63 S have a hand-built <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cargtr.com\/en\/mercedes-benz-g-class-2021\/\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">, twin-turbo 4.0-<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> liter <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">V-8 <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">engine. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In the C63, it produces 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The C63 S raises the bar with 503 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both engines use a nine-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Although top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph on the regular C63 and 180 mph on the S. In our testing, the C63 S went from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and tore the quarter mile in 11.9 seconds at 122 mph. ; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We did not test the C63. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In Lightning Lap 2019,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The C63 S Coupe also turned in a 2:57.1 lap, making it directly behind the discontinued Cadillac CTS-V on our all-time list. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">All C63s come standard with an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential and AMG Ride Control suspension with adaptive dampers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Dynamic engine mounts are included in the C63 S variants. The handling is excellent. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Equipped with summer tires, the C63 S managed 1.02 grams of lateral acceleration on our skateboard and braking from 70 mph to a stop in just 157 ft. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This ability comes at the expense of comfort, as driving is harsh on rough pavement.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Mercedes 2021 fuel economy<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There is no difference in EPA fuel economy between the C63 and the C63 S, but there are differences between the chassis styles. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The sedan has ratings of 18 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The coupe and cabriolet are both rated by the EPA at 17 mpg city, but the coupe has a 26 mpg highway rating versus the convertible&#8217;s 24.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Interior, comfort and cargo 2021 Mercedes<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Black faux leather\/microfiber upholstery is standard on the regular-strength C63, while S models have leather seating. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both versions get a choice of wood and aluminum interior finishes. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We like the available AMG Performance seats, which feature ventilation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Although you can load the technology into the cockpit, it&#8217;s a stylish car at heart, and the materials and ambiance match the high price tag. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The C63 sedan has a trunk volume of 12.6 cubic feet, while the coupe has a smaller cargo area of \u200b\u200b10.5 cubic feet. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both have a 40\/20\/40 foldable rear bench seat. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The C63 Cabriolet features a standard powered soft-top (available in three colors) and provides 8.8 cubic feet of cargo space when the top is up, and the rear seats fold down with a 50\/50 split.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Mercedes 2021 info, well.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">and a six-month trial of the SiriusXM satellite radio. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Options include factory navigation and a head-up display. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">You might also want to consider the optional AMG Drive module, which provides quick-access buttons on the steering wheel to adjust the car&#8217;s many driveline and chassis settings. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But another option is the AMG Track Pace, which lets you store performance data from your car in the infotainment interface when you&#8217;re driving on a road track.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Safety and driver assistance features Mercedes Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), although the regular Benz-branded C-Class manages to receive the top safety pick+ Award from
