Lux es 2021
Lux es 2021
Lexus ES 2021 Although the 2021 Lexus ES is a discreet offering in a category dominated by legitimate sports sedans , it does offer what a certain group of luxury car buyers are looking for in terms of comfort, ride quality and easy driving ability. Three types of engines are offered : a 302-horsepower V-6, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with all-wheel drive, or a hybrid setup that delivers impressive fuel economy. As for luxury, the ES cabin is a beautiful space lined with premium materials, booster seats, and plenty of tech features and connectivity options. What is the downside? Lexus does not offer the same level of driving satisfaction as the luxury sports cars it rivals. But for the price of an entry-level Audi A6 or Mercedes-Benz E-Class, you can get a well-loaded ES – making it an unbeatable value in this highly competitive segment.
Lux es 2021
Lexus is adding the ES250 to the ES lineup this year , which is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and comes standard with all-wheel drive. Like the Lexus RX SUV, the ES sedan also receives the Black Line Special Edition package for 2021. Based on the F Sport model, the Black Line package adds black exterior accents, a black lip spoiler, a white interior and a two-piece Zero Halliburton identical luggage set. in another place ,
Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on Ultra Luxury and F Sport models, a new Rich Cream interior color is available, and Lexus’ suite of Enform Safety Connect features – including onboard Wi-Fi – is now standard across the entire range.
We think upgrading to the ES350 with the Ultra Luxury package is worth it even though it raises the price significantly over the base model. The Ultra Luxury package adds special 18-inch wheels, semi-aniline leather upholstery, a hands-free boot lid, an electric rear sunshade,
Wood and leather steering wheel, adaptive suspension. So, we’re adding the Navigation Package, which upgrades the infotainment screen to the larger 12.3-inch setup and adds in-dashboard navigation and voice recognition.
Engine, Transmission and Performance 2021 Lexus ES
The 2021 Lexus ES gives buyers a choice of three engines. The ES250 is powered by a 203-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and comes standard with all-wheel drive. All ES350 models come with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 302 horsepower and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels. With all the ES350h’s trim, thrust comes from a hybrid powertrain that delivers a net output of 215 horsepower; A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive is standard. On our test track, the gas-only ES350 sprinted from standstill to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds.
The hybrid variant made a dash in a leisurely 8.3 seconds. This Lexus sedan exemplifies the complex handling and indulgent ride quality that many luxury car shoppers cherish. For those who seek more careful handling, the F Sport model adds larger wheels and suspension tuning that is more performance-focused. Even with this upgrade, though, the ES is less sporty than competing models like the BMW 5-series.
Fuel Economy 2021 Lexus ES
According to the EPA, the Lexus ES350’s mileage beats 22/32 mpg highway. As you’d expect, the ES350h hybrid’s engine is more economical, achieving 43/44 mpg. The EPA hasn’t released fuel economy estimates for the new ES250 yet, though.
But Lexus claims it’s capable of a 28 mpg city/highway rating. During our time with the ES350, we noticed 39 mpg highway driving at 75 mph over a 200-mile course. With the ES350h, we noted a fuel economy of 45 mpg on the same road as our test.
Interior, comfort and cargo
With its elegant, asymmetric dash and high-quality materials, the ES cabin creates a luxurious environment for passengers. Both rows provide enough room for long legs, and the seats provide comfortable support. Notably, the cabin is unfailingly quiet, even when the ES is driven at highway speeds.
Both the hybrid and gas models offer just 17.0 cubic feet of space in the trunk, giving the ES more cargo space than competitors such as the Volvo S90 (14.0 cubic feet) and Acura TLX (14.0 cubic feet). Unfortunately, the ES is not available with a foldable rear seat. This makes it difficult for a Lexus to accommodate bulky cargo.
Information, entertainment and communication
Luxury car buyers are looking for cars that offer the latest and greatest tech features, and the 2021 Lexus ES doesn’t disappoint. It comes standard with an infotainment system controlled by an 8.0-inch center display, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both equipped to provide hassle-free integration with the device.
All models come with a 10-speaker audio system with SiriusXM satellite radio. The list of standard tech amenities also includes Amazon Alexa compatibility, a Bluetooth phone, music streaming, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and the Scout GPS Link navigation system.
