I am looking for a match that matches the coordinates .. I chose the CX-5 for comparison because it is a 5-seater short-tail type SUV / crossover with the closest price level. The CX-5 has a body size of 4.550 mm, a length of 1840 mm and a height of 1680 mm. The wheelbase is 2700 mm long The weight of the 2.0SP according to the Eco label standard is 1,583 kg. -5 has a larger overall body volume and weighs more but the height under the belly 3008 is 26mm higher.
It looks like an argument between an adult and a child. But I can’t really imagine who to compare with MG HS, it seems to attract customers from different groups and the price range is very different.
As for my opinion on the design. What I like most about the 3008 (and one of the reasons I want to write about it more than the 5008) is the stem. It combines the smooth, aggressive look of a Hot Hatch race car with a futuristic twist. What’s amazing is that the sharp lines are cut over and over like Picasso’s work, but I don’t know where to do that, it just looks so elegant. A beauty score among cars in the same class I can easily hold my hand against the CX-5. They are both beautiful, but they have different beliefs in their design approach.
The car’s proportions are perfect, powerful, and remove the lion’s graceful spot, but hide the aging of the 405/406-era car now owned by a breakdancing young man who has both the style and the courage to be himself. It’s not an indie vignettes but after watching it I know the designers will probably bump into each other a few rounds before the job is done. The wheel arch size is appropriate. Fits perfectly with 225/55R18 wheels and tires. You can try stuffing 20-inch wheels, but the car won’t look as nice as you think.

Let’s take a look inside, the 3008’s seats are electrically adjustable on both sides. The driver’s side is 8-way adjustable, with forward/rear adjustments to lock the body into the seat when braking hard. For the passenger side, it can only be adjusted in 6 directions, and when adjusting for height it will be raised to the entire body. The front / back can not be adjusted like the driver’s seat. There is no pillow memory system.
The shape of the seat is almost sporty. But it’s a pillow that makes me argue with a lot of people. Because others say the pillow feels soft and firm. I think it’s hard. It really takes time and notice. You see, it’s a pillow whose outer surface is padded with foam and it’s very soft. But this part of the sponge is not very thick. And the core of the pillow inside is very hard. What happened is if you are overweight like me you will press on the sponge until it flattens and it feels like the pad is very hard. In addition, the seat cushion is short. It doesn’t provide as much support under a taller person’s legs as it should, so for a Thai guy a size S or M you might find it comfortable, but for a size L and up you might find the Mazda CX-5 seat more comfortable.
Adjustable headrest but can’t recline The mounting position is slightly inverted like Mazda’s, but not too soft. When driving long distances, consider leaning your head back to relieve fatigue. The head is not as comfortable as it should be, but this problem will not happen to people who drive cars and do not rest their heads on the pillow.
The spread of driver-side space is fine, and SL-sized folks can sit comfortably, but the passenger side on the left will hit the raised lines of the dashboard designed to create that futuristic atmosphere. The right knee space shrinks by at least 2-3 inches, which makes the 1.84m wide car spread its legs and sit comfortably no more than a small car from Japan..only the passenger side will have this problem.
The back seat comes with a soft, solid exterior, similar to the front seats. Sitting and feeling the need to move the buttocks to change positions a lot, the cause of fatigue is the same as the front seat. But the backrest although it looks normal but in fact, it supports the back fairly well. The headrest in the rear seat slopes backwards. So, though protruding like the front seat but when I leaned my head down, I felt that my life was happier than when I was sitting in the front seat. Here, if you can lean back for 1-2 muzzles, it will add more comfort.
Legroom is similar to that of the Mazda CX-5 and MG HS, enough for a person of 170 cm in height to sit down and move his legs, possibly with the front seats installed. But the space above the head is very small. Normally, it’s not easy to find an SUV where I sit with my back straight and my head stuck out. It has to slide forward to be able to sit up and sprint through semi-finals without hitting its head but if you compare it to an SUV-Coupe like the BMW X4 or Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, like this one, the 3008 has more room.
Which compared MG, BMW and Benz here I did not fall in love with the car class. Just trying to move the people who were in these cars to imagine how wide or narrow it was. I prefer to sit in the 5008 model.
Subcompact Allure models came with a panoramic sunroof, clear glass extending to the rear with an electrically operated sliding sunshade. The boot capacity in the rear is 520 liters, and the seats can be folded in a 60:40 ratio to increase cargo space. When folded the space increases to 1,482 liters, the space does not feel spacious but it is deep, the total capacity is slightly larger than the Mazda CX-5 (505 liters) but it is still enough to hold several rather large luggage. Family life should suffice as husband + wife and 1-2 growing children, but there may not be enough space to carry strollers and baby items as much as a seven-seater SUV

Atmosphere inside the cabin Because the price between cars is a mere two million, perhaps no other car has played with styling as much as the 3008. The raised center console looks like a wry Porsche 911, with satin chrome lines forming a C-line, punctuated by a glossy black finish. Fabric trim on console and door panels. Almost like no other (with the exception of the Chevrolet Captiva LS that uses denim), perhaps this type of fabric will replace the next generation of materials such as wood, piano black or aluminum.
All this is complemented by colored lights in the cabin at night. Set the tone with the app on the center display. Both moods and blood reds can choose, willing to fight no matter the tone. At night the 3008’s cabin looks gorgeous, more toward Mercedes-Benz and BMW than million-dollar Japanese cars.
However, the quality of materials and assembly is in line with the price of the car. At this price, in a car of this size, you wouldn’t expect raw materials as good as three million. The leather used is not the softest grade. Plastics and simply some assembly points still can’t compete with the Mazda CX-5, but it probably won’t have a choice. If you use the good stuff the price will be more expensive than this. People may not be interested in buying at all.
A strange driving position that you have to get used to a bit because Peugeot uses a steering wheel that is smaller than that of a race car. I had to use a small tweak because I had to dodge a dial that was mounted too high. But when you get used to it as a result, no matter how big you are, you can easily turn the steering wheel. There will never be a day when a hand sticks to a leg.
Switches for power windows and side mirrors He’s at the door like a normal car. The start button has been moved to the gear lever area. The two-level piano key arrangement looks exotic and beautiful. It’s easier to use than you think. As for the area near the gear lever, there is a switch to set the operating mode of the traction control (Advance Grip Control) which looks like a version of an SUV. But in fact, the 3008 is a front-wheel drive car. Making a wrench like this is to help facilitate ABS assembly adjustment. Makes it easy to select the mode that matches the road conditions.
Electric handbrake switch next to the rear of the gear lever, there is no Auto Brake Hold button, which I tried looking in the manual on the outside and couldn’t find any mention of this system. No system warning light I’m not sure but maybe it’s not available. The button at the end of the gear lever is the button for sport mode.
The central screen is an 8-inch touch screen, in addition to being used to control the air conditioning. Display navigation and entertainment systems are also used to designate various functions of the vehicle. Such as turning on/off the various active security systems and the colors and patterns of this monitor are modern and provide sharp images. There is no camera function around the car. But there is a reverse camera.
The sound system is some kind of 6 speakers, when you try to connect USB, the sound quality appears. In the middle it’s better than the Subaru XV and Forester’s stereo, but you still can’t compete with Mazda in terms of sound dimensions. In detail, here we are talking about the Mazda CX-5, normal sound, not BOSE, but if you listen to POP / Jazz music, then the quality of the sound you will get. Still considered good if I used this car I wouldn’t feel the need to tweak the sound any more.
The dashboard is a 12.3-inch color screen and is the most unique feature for the same price of the car. You can adjust the screen six ways using the cylinder switch on the right steering stem.

- NAVIGATION – Sets mainly to display the navigation system.
- Driving – The needle gauge becomes a rolling barrel gauge with a car in the middle. Displays what command systems are enabled.
- Bottom Line – Show only necessary results, namely speed and fuel remaining. and machine temperature
- TRIP COMPUTER – Like a minimalist, but displays tachometer and running distance information.
- Personal – displays the results according to the value set by the user, and can choose to display different values on the left and right screens The information displayed at this point should be modified in the center screen.
You can also choose a color theme. (bad/hot) from the center screen which after playing for a while I went back to using the DIALS screen, and set the theme to red, which is the hottest color and easiest to read. But I still feel that I am not used to the tachometer only turning counterclockwise.
