Acadia 2021 GMC
Acadia 2021 GMC
2021 Acadia On the roof, the 2021 GMC Acadia’s sleek exterior and spacious three-row interior make it the perfect family SUV,
But other SUVs in this price range offer a more elevated experience . Buyers will choose between a standard four-cylinder engine, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, or a smoothbore V-6, but none of these engines offer particularly exciting performance or class-leading fuel economy. The 2021 Acadia’s user-friendly infotainment front offers competitive connectivity features, and the GMC cabin offers highly desirable second-row captain’s chairs. However, its interior materials don’t quite live up to the Acadia’s asking price, even on higher-spec Denali models, but thoughtful storage compartments offer plenty of room for entire families to stash their goodies on their road trips.
GMC has made some changes to the 2021 Acadia’s packaging. The Pro Safety Plus package, which includes the 2021 Acadia’s many driver-assistance features, is now standard on SLT, AT4 and Denali. The Elevation Edition package is now available on SLE and SLT and includes 20-inch wheels and black exterior accents. A heated steering wheel joins the Premium Package for SLT and AT4 models. Those same trims can now be had with the tech package, which includes a head-up display and a 360-degree camera system. Second-row captain’s seats are standard on all but the base SL and three new colors – Cayenne Red Tintcoat, Hunter metallic, and Midnight Blue metallic – join the board. Acadia 2021
We’d opt for the mid-level SLT model, which adds the available Acadia’s turbocharged engine, first and second-row leather seats, and a hands-free tailgate to the equipment list. In addition to the SLT extras, this model comes with standard LED headlights, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, keyless entry and push-button start. Acadia 2021
2021 Acadia Engine, Transmission and Performance
اكاديا 2021 Acadia 2021
Acadia’s base engine is a 2.5 liter four-cylinder good for 193 horsepower,
The optional 3.6-liter V-6 produces 310 horsepower . A nine-speed automatic and front-wheel drive are standard with any engine and an optional 2.5-liter four-wheel drive is good for maximizing fuel efficiency, but no more than that—it has a towing capacity of about 1,000 pounds while the V-6 can tow up to to 4000 lbs. A 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 230 horsepower is also available,
But only on SLT and Denali models. While you’ll never forget you’re driving an SUV, the Acadia is reasonably qualified and composed. The Acadia feels heavy during high-speed cornering, but when driven in a less aggressive manner (where most people drive most of the time), the ride is forgiving and stable. Adaptive suspension — standard on Denali and optional on SLT-2 models with all-wheel drive — adjusts the dampers every millisecond to help smooth out the ride on bumps or tighten things up if the driver begins to feel tight.
Economy in Acadia 2021 fuel consumption
The EPA estimates that the front-wheel drive version with a base 2.5-liter engine will gain 21 mpg in the city and 27 on the highway. The front-wheel drive V-6 is estimated at 19 mpg in the city and 27 on the highway. The turbocharged engine with front-wheel drive is the most economical, with ratings of 22 mpg city and 29 highway. However, we didn’t test any Acadia with the nine-speed automatic transmission in our 75-mph highway fuel economy test.
Interior, comfort and cargo 2021 Acadia
اكاديا 2021 Acadia 2021
The Acadia’s compact exterior may help it fit into garages and parking spaces, but it has consequences for interior roominess. The interior is pleasing to the eye, and most of the controls are intuitive and within reach of the driver. A black and white instrument cluster with red needles provides information at a glance; Denali models feature a reconfigurable central display that provides a wide range of additional vehicle information depending on the driver’s settings.
The tilt and telescopic steering column can use more range to give drivers who are tall or very short a comfortable position, but it still works for most people. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features a convincingly high-end aluminum trim. Unfortunately, some interior materials have a cheap look and feel. With the use of the third row, we were only able to fit two hand bags into the Acadia,
But with the second and third row seats stowed away, we were able to fit 28. The Dodge Durango kept four bags behind with the third row and 30 with the rear rows of seats folded, so it might be a better option if you’re going to be transporting people and goods frequently at the same time.
Information, entertainment and communication
When it comes to technology, the Acadia offers a lot for the whole family. From a plethora of USB ports to a Wi-Fi hotspot, travelers can easily stay connected. The touchscreen infotainment system is intuitive and responsive; Charging more than one device that requires a 12V outlet can be a challenge, as only one of these outlets are provided.
Safety and driver assistance features
The 2021 Acadia received a five-star crash test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA),
But the latest version evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) was not selected as a top safety pick. Driver assistance technologies add an extra level of protection, but they are either expensive options or force the buyer to choose one of the more expensive models. Key safety features include:
Automatic emergency braking available
Help is available to keep track
Blind spot monitoring available
Warranty and maintenance coverage
The Acadia comes with a comprehensive warranty and maintenance coverage package as standard, with additional protection plans available from dealers. Hyundai offers limited warranties and a longer powertrain, but GMC covers the Acadia’s first maintenance visit within the first year of ownership.
The limited warranty covers three years or 36000 miles
Powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles
Free maintenance is covered for the first visit
