Land Cruiser 2021
Land Cruiser 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser has a legendary resume as an off-road vehicle, but the current model looks more luxurious than adventurous. However, this large two- or three-row SUV is still incredibly durable and capable. Although not as luxurious as its company counterpart, the Lexus LX,
The Land Cruiser is equipped with a plethora of high-end features in an attempt to justify its high price tag. We’re not particularly impressed with the Toyota’s large interior trim, but we love it because it’s equipped with serious trail-ready gear like a two-speed transfer case and locking center differential. Its standard 381-horsepower V-8 isn’t particularly special,
It certainly isn’t fuel-efficient, but it drives the excavator with power The 2021 Land Cruiser lacks the prestige of expensive metal, but it’s more capable than most in pens—something to consider for those few buyers who will actually venture out there.
For 2021, the Land Cruiser has remained mostly unchanged. The only update is that the Heritage version can now be selected with a third row of seats. The top model is now also available in Classic Silver Metallic and Magnetic Gray paint colors.
Land Cruiser 2021
The Land Cruiser is incredibly capable , but also incredibly expensive, especially when compared to other large, non-luxury SUVs. However, if we were to spend the money on Toyota’s biggest three-row SUV, we’d opt for the more elegant Heritage Edition. It comes standard with a myriad of desirable features including a JBL 14-speaker audio system and a camera system that has multiple views for overcoming obstacles. Every Land Cruiser also has standard four-zone climate control,
Heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and wireless charging. The Heritage Edition comes exclusively with a unique grille design, roof rack, 18″ BBS wheels and dark exterior accents. The 2021 model now has a third row option, which we choose to increase the number of people we can bring with us when exploring unknown parts.
Engine, transmission and performance
The Land Cruiser is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission . This setup generates 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. Full-time all-wheel drive is standard. With a smooth ride quality and good design, the Land Cruiser offers comfortable driving dynamics.
However, its steering feel is mild, and there is a fair amount of body wrap. Competing SUVs in this price range offer more advantageous handling. Despite its chubby exterior, the Land Cruiser is relatively quick off the line. It’s also capable of towing up to 8100 pounds, which is large but still slightly less than some competitors, such as the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Expedition.
Land Cruiser 2021 fuel economy
Toyota’s gigantic proportions affect fuel economy. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the Land Cruiser achieves gas miles of just 13 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway. It will work best with competitors like the Lincoln Navigator (up to 16/22 mpg city/highway) and the Mercedes-Benz GLS-class (19/23 mpg city/highway). The Land Cruiser we tested gained 17 mpg on our realistic 200-mile highway.
Interior, comfort and cargo 2021 Land Cruiser
As far as the Land Cruiser’s cabin is concerned, it’s all about execution, and there’s an impressive attention to detail during gameplay. While the cabin is not as visually luxurious as that of competitors such as the Mercedes GLS-class, it is home to high-quality materials. The build quality is excellent, and the knobs and switches move with a weight that inspires quality. The front row provides comfortable accommodations and pioneering sight lines. There is a lot of space in the second row, but the third row is best suited for children. With a standard seat for eight people
