Audi A7 2021
Audi A7 2021
Audi 2021 The Audi A7 2021 blurs a beautiful line between the sedan and the hatchback with its elegant appearance and upscale nature . The turbocharged V-6 powertrain and standard all-wheel drive system provide quick acceleration and traction over four seasons. Audi also treats passengers in a quiet cabin featuring the latest technology and endless luxury . While most of this content is found in the A6 sedan as well, the A7’s profile and additional cargo space make it more visually distinct and more practical. Like the A6, the A7 fastback offers a sophisticated road ethic capable of delighting drivers when the road ahead begins to turn. The 2021 A7 features an unintuitive infotainment system and costs more than the A6, but other than that it’s a great machine touting Audi’s high-quality image.
Audi car 2021
The big news for the 2021 A7 is the addition of a plug-in hybrid model. The hybrid powertrain consists of a turbocharged four-cylinder and an electric motor that together put out 362 horsepower. Thanks to its 14.4 kWh battery pack, the A7 PHEV will only be able to drive electric,
However, Audi has not yet released details about the car’s range. Alongside the new PHEV model, Audi has made the smallest changes to the 2021 A7 lineup. A set of 20-inch wheels with all-season tires is now standard on the base model. Likewise, the optional Comfort Package adds more content such as a top-view camera system. The mid-level Premium Plus now comes standard with adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist. The Top Prestige gets a new optional sport package that includes 21-inch wheels on summer tires and adaptive steel suspension.
We recommend the Premium Plus model, which has more desirable standard features and more options available than the basic trim level. The Plus comes standard with adaptive cruise control, an Audi virtual cockpit (12.3-inch digital instrument cluster), headlights with Matrix styling accents and automatic high beams, futuristic-looking taillight animation, a high-end Bang & Olufsen audio system,
And help keep track. In addition, the Premium Plus features standard luxury such as heated front seats, leather upholstery, a power hatchback, and a panoramic sunroof. We’ve been increasing the luxury levels on the A7 a bit more by choosing the Driver and Executive packages. The combination is accentuated by the addition of four-zone climate control, heated rear seats, and ventilated front seats.
The standard powertrain on the A7 is a turbocharged V-6 that produces 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. This power is delivered to the Audi Quattro all-wheel drive via a seven-speed automatic transmission. The A7’s standard V-6 powertrain also uses a 48-volt hybrid assist system that reduces turbo lag and helps stop/start. during daily driving,
Appreciate Audi’s effortless speed. Its advanced all-wheel drive system provides excellent traction in wet and dry conditions. The automatic transmission intelligently reacts to the comfortable and lively throttle inputs. If you’re looking for something with electric-only capability, you’ll want to upgrade to the new plug-in hybrid model, which produces 362 horsepower from a combination of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder electric motor.
We haven’t had a chance to test this model yet, but we did spend a lot of time with the standard V-6. Audi expertly combines luxury and agility in the A7. Its enthusiastic responses and ethereal ride quality immediately stood out when we were behind the wheel. Despite the optional 21-inch wheels for our test car, the expected bumps from harsh bumps almost went unnoticed. The flex suspension system was equally successful in limiting body movements and increasing smoothness. Steering response was linear, with an adjustable manual available in different driving modes, but it never made it clear what the front wheels were doing. The two A7 models we tested had impressive stopping power, with emergency braking distances of 157 feet and 163 feet.
The fuel economy of the Audi 2021
But the EPA estimates that the 2021 A7 with a six-cylinder engine will gain 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway. Those numbers line up closely with competitors like the BMW 540i xDrive (21 mpg city and 29 highway) and the Mercedes-Benz CLS450 4Matic (23 city and 30 highway). The A7 plug-in hybrid has a combined rating of 29 mpg (5 mpg higher than the non-hybrid combined rating), and has an electric-only 24 mpg range.
The V-6-powered Audi we tested significantly exceeded its highway rating, earning 36 mpg on the 75-mph fuel-economy road, part of our comprehensive test regimen. The CLS also returned 36 mpg during highway testing, but the Bimmer only achieved 31 mpg.
Interior, comfort and cargo 2021 Audi
The interior of the A7 features impeccable fit and finish and is distinguished by its attractive materials and sturdy key combination. Each cabin has ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, leather seating surfaces, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, and more. However, it is only controlled by touch screens, which is annoying. The A7 also offers a satisfying driving position complimented by excellent outside visibility. Rear seat passengers receive climate controls, power points for charging appliances, and even heated seats,
All are optional. While the rear seat comfortably accommodates two adults, three full-size tires will be cramped. Under the A7’s motorized rear lift, we place seven hand luggage behind the foldable rear seat. The car also carried 20 bags of luggage with the seats folded flat. Similarly, we were able to put a golf bag and a baby stroller in the cargo area. Unfortunately, the A7 has average internal compartment space. The front door pockets are narrow, and the center console has a small chest.
infotainment and connectivity Audi 2021
Each A7 features an impressive infotainment system with dual touchscreens that integrate seamlessly into the dashboard and center console. The large icons are easy to locate and the tactile response is satisfying, but the setup is undoubtedly distracting as it often requires the driver to take their eyes off the road. Standard content includes Apple CarPlay / Android Auto integration and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. Desirable options are two powerful Bang & Olufsen audio systems and wireless smartphone charging.
Safety and driver assistance features
The 2021 A7 has not been tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or fully evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). However, it offers advanced driver assistance equipment that includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go technology and night vision. Key safety features include:
Standard Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking
Blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert are available
Lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist are available
