While Chevy’s higher intake rating requires a 6.2-liter V-8, the 5.3-liter version can still handle up to 11,500 pounds. Models with the V-6 can only tow up to 7,900 pounds, but the turbocharged four-cylinder and diesel engine can tow up to 9,500 and 9,600 pounds, respectively.
